Inspiration for the name Seedfolk Herbs comes from one of my favorite books as a young person: SEEDFOLKS by Paul Fleischman.

The premise (promise) of a vacant lot turned community garden from one seed, then two seed, then three inspired me then (& now).

Neighbors from diverse backgrounds found nourishment, joy, dignity, & meaning. With patience & collaboration, trust & humility, seed & their folk transformed this abandoned lot into something beautiful.

I continue to draw inspiration from these stories & the lot of seedfolk I’ve had the joy of learning with & alongside.
